Drawings and Data Library
In the Electronic Age, it has become very easy to send files, pictures, correspondence, and other important and useful information over large distances, instantaneously. It has also become very easy to generate many revisions of that information in many different locations, and at times, revision control is lost and information at different sites can conflict.
While there exists productivity software from many companies to address this problem, very few inter-corporation partnerships can take advantage of them. Implementation costs are usually very high, and corporate culture conflicts, or even simply technology conflicts, can severely hinder use and productivity.
To solve this issue for our customers, Encotech and Carbon Service and Equipment Company offer an on-line drawings and data repository. In the upper-left hand corner of every screen on our website, there is a login box. Using a supplied login and password, our customers have access to their own, on-line library of pertinent files and information. ACAD drawings, product spec sheets, jobsite pictures, submittal packages, and more, are all accessible in this database. By designating this location as the final say in inter-company collaboration, we have eliminated the inconvenience and wasted time associated with revision conflicts.
