Activated Carbon Adsorbers
Encotech and CSEC offer a full line of "off-the-shelf" activated carbon treatment systems. These liquid and vapor phase adsorbers are available with an initial fill of virgin or reactivated carbon. Optional features such as cam-lok fittings, pressure gauges, sample ports, pressure relief devices, and interconnecting piping are also available. Complete treatment systems are offered using other unit processes such as metals removal, oil/grease removal, and prefiltration. All systems can be skid mounted for ease of installation. Complete automation is also an option, lowering operating expenses. All adsorbers and treatment systems are available for purchase, lease, or rental. Aqua Series -- Refillable/Disposable
Each Aqua Series adsorber is manufactured with a heavy
duty steel vessel and a corrosion resistant lining. The internal distribution and collection
systems are designed to maximize flow and optimize carbon usage. These adsorbers can be easily
changed out. If the spent carbon cannot be reactivated, the adsorbers can also be used for

Aqua High Pressure Series -- Composite FRP/HDPE
The Aqua HP Series adsorbers offer an excellent combination of corrosion
resistance and high pressure capability. The adsorbers are manufactured from a heavy duty, corrosion
resistant polyethylene lined fiberglass reinforced composite vessel, offering pressure ratings of up to
150 psig, flows up to 200 gpm, and sizes from 55 pounds up to 5,000 pounds of activated carbon. Contact

Each Air Series adsorber is built utilizing heavy duty steel. Because maximizing flow
rates and minimizing carbon consumption are critical, CSEC offers a unique "false bottom"
design, allowing the lowest possible pressure drop and total utilization of the activated
carbon bed. These adsorbers can be easily changed out. If the spent carbon cannot be
reactivated, the adsorbers can also be used for disposal.Air Series adsorbers are available for flow rates up to 2500 scfm, varying pressures, and sizes from 175 pounds to 20,000 pounds of activated carbon. Air Series -- Polyethylene
Air Series Poly vapor phase activated carbon adsorbers are fabricated from High
Density Polyethylene (HPDE) for applications when corrosion resistance is critical.Air Series Poly adsorbers are available for flow rates up to 1400 scfm and range in size from 175 pounds to 2,000 pounds of activated carbon.
