What are PFAS?

More commonly known as forever chemicals, PFAS are man-made chemicals that have been used since the 1940s in both industrial and consumer products. Most chemicals in the PFAS family do not break down, remain in the environment, and have been linked to harmful side effects to both humans and nature.
